The manage carrier contacts feature allows broker admins to review and clean up the list of carrier contacts available during the marketing workflow. This helps ensure only active and relevant contacts appear when inviting carriers to a project.

This functionality is available to users with the broker management permission.

1. Open the manage carrier contacts tab

To begin:

  • Navigate to Manage users

  • Select the Carrier contacts tab

Note: This tab is only visible to users with the broker management permission.

The tab displays a table of carrier contacts your brokerage has interacted with in the past.

2. How these contacts appear in your workflow

When placing a coverage, you select a carrier (e.g., Guardian). After that, a dropdown appears where you can choose carrier contacts to invite to the project.

This list pulls directly from the Manage Carrier Contacts tab, and over time, it can include outdated or inactive names.

3. Hide outdated carrier contacts

If you want to clean up this list:

  • Go to Manage users > Carrier contacts

  • Filter by carrier to locate the contact (e.g., Guardian)

  • Find the contact (e.g., Alexandrine)

  • Click the toggle to hide the contact

This action removes the contact from the dropdown in the market workflow, keeping things cleaner for your team.

4. Confirm the contact is removed

To verify that the contact is no longer visible:

  • Return to the Market workflow

  • Select the same carrier (e.g., Guardian)

  • Confirm that the previously hidden name no longer appears in the contact selection dropdown

5. Best practices

  • Review contacts regularly: Keeping this list tidy helps brokers focus on active contacts.

  • Unhide as needed: You can always return to this tab to unhide a contact if they become relevant again.
